After my visit on September 20, 2020, I cannot recommend the Brasserie Chez Léon restaurant from a hygienic point of view. Although the staff follows the provisions regarding mouthguards, they do not go beyond that. The tables are sticky - they may be disinfected, but they are not cleaned with water. Instead, the previously used napkin of the guest is used for this. The upholstery on the chairs is extremely dirty and extremely neglected. The ballpoint pens that are used to record the contact data are simply passed on without cleaning / disinfection. That is not the point. The toilets are the biggest eyesore in this restaurant. For drying after hand washing, only an air dryer is available, which has been proven to be a germs thrower. Disposable towels would be the better alternative here. As a hygiene coach, I can say that hygiene generally seems neglected - even the best face mask doesn't help. Overall, from a hygienic point of view, the restaurant is not recommended - although the service was friendly and the food was tasty.

The ambience is nice. We were a larger group and had different dishes. The starters were good (beef carpaccio, lettuce and bruschetta). The main courses were not overwhelming. The pizza looked better than it was. Pretty bland and slack. The chicken was okay, the vegetables were soaked in fat. Unfortunately, there was no fish cutlery for the fish that wasn't better. The service was really not good. One had to wait a long time. The margherita was terrible, apart from the fact that the decoration was missing, it tasted really horrible. The lemon wedge that swam around inside looked like it had been gnawed. It was just the shell. And the ladies' rooms looked bad. Tpaper was everywhere on the puddle-flooded floor. The flush buttons were completely broken. My friend refused to go in there.

So expensive for a double expresso with nothing in the cup!!!....

We went here several times during our vacation. Nice service, delicious food and attentive waiters. Water for the dog came without an order, which is always a plus. Ice cream was huge and really good and creamy. Even in the evening everything was great and delicious. Price / performance okay. Cozy and nice, we'll be back.

Delicious! This restaurant was recommended to us by our business partners and we liked it a lot. The selection is large, the prices a bit high, but absolutely reasonable for the quality. The offer ranges from tapas to pasta to steak. The service is good and very nice. Gladly again.

Nice restaurant at the fish market with a large selection of drinks and dishes. Good lunchtime dishes, ice cream parlor is integrated in the restaurant. Friendly staff. Price perfectly okay.

The pizza is delicious. The tomato sauce in particular is extremely fruity and needs to be highlighted. Waiters very attentive and friendly.

The food and service are good, I agree with the other opinions. However, I ordered a caipirinha, € 7.20, and could not take more than a maximum of 6 SMALL puffs through the straw, after that there was really only a completely filled glass with ice. I was told: "... that's the case with this mixed drink ..."

Really nice restaurant! The food is really good, especially the pizza and pasta! The waitresses are nice and they have a nice outdoor area, if you want to eat outside. The prices are fair for the quality you get.

From six stars down to just one. Absolute disaster what we had to experience today. Inattentive service. Long waiting times. Half full glasses ... Even though there wasn't much going on.

Super delicious food. Huge portions that really fill you up. The prices are also reasonable. The service was always there when you wanted to change something. The waiting time for the food was average which is not a problem. The sundaes are huge and also delicious. I would love to come back.

The price / performance ratio is definitely right here. I've never eaten better ice cream. The balls are as huge as the variety. The ice cream cups are so big that you should share them.

Good and fast service! In passing we spontaneously decided on the restaurant. It is well attended and centrally located. There are hot and cold dishes. We had coffee and ice cream. The ice cream sundae were well filled and very tasty. The staff are very friendly.

The breakfast was unfortunately not very good. There was not much choice and the food and drinks were rather average. In addition, despite the half-empty restaurant, we had to wait a long time for the food (approx. 45 min). We also had to wait 15 minutes for the bill. In addition, an open biscuit was added to the cappuccino, probably from the previous guest. After all, the location was nice and clean.

Ask the waiter whether the portion of spaghetti is enough to fill me up or whether I should eat a pizza. This answers the spaghetti are huge I should take them. With 2 slices of pizza I would have satisfied my hunger sooner and would have 6 left. The hammer is still to come. When I paid with the card, he simply rounded up the price by 70 cents. Unfortunately I haven't tried any pizza yet, and I can't judge it. But first of all the operation should be trained better.

Chez Leon is a very cosy place to eat situated in central location in the old part of the city. Very professional service with very good and tasty food. Generous portions and not expensive.

Very good restaurant with nice vibe. The food is top quality, very big portions and all reasonably priced. We go back there whenever we are in Konstanz.

Service poor, off hand and completely disinterested. Overstaffed but you would not know it for their tardiness and lethargic approach. Food at best average. Very little atmosphere here, cold and uninviting.

A nice restaurant close to the lake with good food. The decoration and ambience is very comfortable; modern, but not over the top. The waiters are always friendly and have a good sense of humor. The food is also great, however, inconsistent in its quality/way of making. I've been there multiple times and had a pizza three times. It was delicious every time, but there was a noticeable difference in the dough (not necessarily in a bad way). Also had the tiramisu a few times - on two occasions it was basically a tasty creamy mush that kinda tasted like tiramisu, but not quite, as is was mostly cream. I suppose the reason behind that is that it was the remainder and therefore not so nicely shaped. Nothing else to complain about, the other dishes I tried were delicious.

A great little Cafe by the street and close to the lake. Although we only had coffee (but from what we could see the food looked great!) it was a beautiful ambiance sitting out in the sun after a long walk through the town. They have a comprehensive food menu and for beverages as well. There is very comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor has panoramic glass windows to let ample sunlight in. The restrooms were clean and big enough. Service was good and professional but since we went on a Sunday, it seemed slightly laid back. The attendants spoke English and the order didn't take too long to arrive.
